About Us
Twinco Flying Club was formed in the 1960s by a group of employees from IBM and Texico - nicknamed, back then,
as "the twin companies."
The club started with a Cessna 140, by the 70s, it was replaced by two Cessna 172s. Later a Cessna 150 was
acquired for training purposes and with member assistance, an Aeronca Champ 7AC was rebuilt.
Currently the club owns one IFR certified and maintained Cessna 172 aircraft and membership is limited to 25 members.
It's based at Dutchess County Airport (KPOU) and meets as a club on the fourth Monday of the month at the pilot's
lounge (yellow building) on the alpha ramp. Those wishing to attend a meeting should contact the President,
Jeff Karn at 914-474-4404 or Vice President, John Ditton at 845-298-8183
for further information and directions.
